Switch the Colors

fuckyeahtattoos: This is my Moon Crisis Make Up tattoo from Sailor Moon. I got this done at Among The Living in Lancaster, Ohio in the USA. The tattoo artist is Scott Fate. Although he is only an apprentice at Among The Living, I personally think he’s better than most tattoo artists around the area. It was an amazing experience having him tattoo me and while it was all happening, he was learning more and more about tattoos. He has never done something gold before my tattoo and as he was making the crystals he was finding new ways to make it look real and pop. After about two and a half hours he finally got done. I’m glad he didn’t rush it at all. Scott was also very pleasant to be around.Now, as for the tattoo, I got it to represent something so extraordinary in my myself that possibly changed my life and opened my mind. First off, the saying “Take A Chance Cause You Might Grow” is a lyric from the Gwen Stefani song What You Waiting. The lyric means, to me, that life is full of opportunities and that I should take a risk because I might learn something. I think it fits perfectly with the Moon Crisis Make Up compact because that’s what Sailor Moon does; she grows from experiences and so does that compact. The compact has changed form many times and only gets stronger.   Secondly, Sailor Moon was the first anime I ever watched, seeing as though I was born in 1993. It’s been with me my entire life. It honestly taught me the value of friendship, family, and love. It accepted people of all forms. Love was not gender related. True love existed. Real friends stick it out, through thick and thin. And most importantly, you can overcome any obstacle as long as you believe in yourself.Sailor Moon has stayed with me this long and now it’s permanent. This tattoo will always remind me of those important lessons and values.  Whoever you are, we need to be friends because I love Sailor Moon and Gwen Stefani.

Naoko, your anatomy skills are…uh…out of this world sometimes. *side eyes anatomy* never not reblog Crystal Tokyo especially gorgeous manga colorings of Crystal Tokyo like holy balls look at all the senshi so colorful!the thing about Naoko’s anatomy is that at least (imo) it matches her overall style of drawing — that is — it’s unreal but in a sort of wispy flowy elongated way like all her artwork. She has a thing going.
